Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is the longest running show. The comedy show has won hearts and even today is the favourite of the audience. A lot of controversies have happened but the craze for the show does not end. Monaz Mevawalla recently entered Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. She replaced Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal as Mrs Roshan Sodhi. Jennifer had left the show after she accused Asit Kumarr Modi of sexual harassment and disrespect. The case went on for long time and Monaz started as Roshan a few months back. She has been loved for her performance in the show and people easily accepted her as Roshan.

Monaz spoke to Etimes about bagging the role. She said that she was very excited and happy when she came to know she is doing the role. She also said that she did not have any apprehensions while taking up the role despite the controversies that happened on the sets of the show.
Monaz on working with Dilip Joshi
She further spoke about working with Dilip Joshi in the show. She said that she has worked with him before and has also worked with many other actors like Mandar Chandwadkar, Amit Bhatt from the sets before. She further said that the best part about working with Dilip Joshi is that he knows every character of the show.
She said that he gives important inputs to everyone on the sets for their respective characters and he builds other characters as well. Monaz said that he thinks about everyone on the sets and gives advises while doing scenes. She added that he is a nice man.
She was further asked about Disha Vakani aka Dayaben’s return to the show. Monaz said that everyone keeps asking her but she has no idea about it. She also said that she met Disha Vakani before Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah had started. Her father has worked with Disha earlier.
