Maxwell Simkins is heading back to television!
The former Mighty Ducks: Game Changers star and newcomer Barrett Margolis have been cast as series regulars in the comedy pilot Shifting Gears, according to Deadline.

Maxwell has been cast as Carter and Barrett as Georgia, who are Riley’s children and Matt’s grandchildren.
Riley will be played by Kat Dennings, while Tim Allen will play Matt.
Shifting Gears “centers on Matt (Allen), the stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop. When Matt’s estranged daughter Riley (Dennings) and her kids move into his house, the real restoration begins.”
Teen Wolf and Cruel Summer‘s Froy Gutierrez and Daryl “Chill” Mitchell are also set to star.
Froy will play Nick, “Matt’s son and Riley’s younger brother. He’s a game coder but put his life on hold to come home and help his father at the shop,” Variety reports.
Daryl has been cast as Ed, a former Marine, who is “a mechanic at the shop and ‘work husband’ of Frankie.” Frankie’s casting is currently unknown.
Tim will also executive produce, while Kat will serve as a producer as well.
