The new-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift 2024 is one of the highly anticipated cars of this year, which will go official in India tomorrow. The carmaker will officially unveil the next-generation Swift tomorrow at noon. The Maruti Suzuki Swift launch event will be streamed live via the automaker’s official social media accounts and YouTube channel. The new-generation Swift has been snapped multiple times at dealership outlets, revealing the hatch ahead of its launch. Maruti Suzuki is already accepting bookings for the new Swift for a token amount of Rs. 11,000. The Maruti Suzuki Swift will sport major design upgrades giving a fresh look than the outgoing model. The fourth-generation Maruti Swift gets new projector headlamps with LED DRLs, new grille, fog lamps, new taillamps and more. The car will come in five variants – LXi, VXi, VXi (O), ZXi, and ZXi+.

The cabin will see significant updates featuring a 9-inch floating touchscreen information unit, a larger instrument cluster, Arkamys sound system, wireless charging, new upholstery, rear AC vents, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and more.
The new-generation Maruti Swift will draw power from a new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z series petrol engine, which also powers the global-spec model. The petrol mill can produce 80 bhp of power and 112 Nm of torque while mated to a 5-speed manual and an AMT transmission. Though the car will be slightly underpowered, it will be more fuel-efficient than the outgoing model. It could return a mileage of 25.72 kmpl.

Maruti Suzuki could price the new Swift in the price bracket of Rs. 6.5 lakh to Rs. 9.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The hatch will lock horns with rivals like Tata Tiago and Hyundai Grand i10.
