Manoj Bajpayee, who is known for his stellar performances in the entertainment industry, recently opened up about his early struggles before achieving success in Bollywood.
During a chat with Cyrus Broacha, Manoj reminisced about a time when every bit of extra money mattered. “Salary was anyway less. Our biggest support used to be conveyance. We used to get Rs 150, and we used to think and plan what we would do with that Rs 150,” he revealed.
When asked about whether stars still receive conveyance allowances, Manoj expressed a hint of nostalgia mixed with humour. “Sadly, it’s not there (anymore),” he remarked.
Manoj further elaborated on how the industry dynamics have changed over the years, even in terms of basic allowances. “Earlier, even when the actor would travel in their own car, they would get reimbursed for petrol. Now they don’t even give that,” he added.
