Manisha Rani disclosed that the disagreement with Elvish Yadav began regarding the cover photo for a collaborative post.
Elvish Yadav has been hitting headlines ever since he was arrested in the snake venom case. Another set of controversies related to the Bigg Boss OTT winner erupted when Jhalakk Dikhhla Jaa 11 winner Manisha Rani unfollowed Elvish on the social media platform Instagram. Now, on Saturday, Manisha took to her YouTube channel and revealed the reason why she took the step. Rani issued a video statement and opened up about her fight with Elvish.
Manisha disclosed that the disagreement between them arose from a cover photo for a joint post. She asserted that despite Elvish being expected to include one of his pictures with her, he ignored it and instead shared a post featuring himself and Akshay Kumar. “I did not like it when I saw the photo because the collaboration was between Elvish and me. That video was visible on both of our profiles. When it is on my profile, my photo should have been there too,” Manisha said.
Manisha also revealed that despite her team pleaded Elvish for the same, the Bigg Boss OTT winner refused to change the picture. “Elvish took the phone and said, ‘What is the problem? The cover photo will not be changed. Tell Manisha that whenever she collaborates next, she can put her family picture then’,” she added.
Manisha lashed out at Elvish and called his behaviour ‘egoistic’ and said that she unfollowed Elvish because her ‘self-respect’ is more important. The JDJ 11 winner said it was ‘common sense’ to use a picture which featured her and added that she decided to end ‘Elvisha’ fandom as now they don’t share any friendly bond. “Jo banda mere saath ek cover photo nahi daal sakta hai, jab uska ego hai toh mera bhi self respect hai,” she said.
Manisha and Elvish first met inside the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house. The audience outside enjoyed the bond of the duo. Later Elvish turned out to be the winner of the reality show, and Manisha participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 and emerged as its winner.
