Lava O2 price in India, sale date
- Lava O2 is priced at Rs 8,499 for the sole variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone is available at an introductory price of Rs 7,999.
- The first sale of the Lava O2 is scheduled to take place on March 27th via Lava e-store, and Amazon.
- It comes in three colour variants: Majestic Purple, Imperial Green and Royal Gold.
- Lava is also offering free-of-cost phone repairing services for its latest smartphone.
Lava O2 specifications
Lava O2 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole camera for selfies. The smartphone is powered by the UNISOC T616 processor paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone also gets 8GB of virtual RAM for a performance boost. There’s also a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 512GB.
In the photography department, you get a 50MP dual AI camera with features such as AI mode, HDR mode, portrait mode, beauty mode and night mode. There’s an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.
On the software front, the Lava O2 runs near-stock Android 13 with no bloatware or ads. You also get anonymous plus call recording and dual app support with the Lava O2. You can also flip the phone to silent calls, and there’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the phone.
Lava O2 alternatives
Lava O2 sits in the pocket-friendly budget segment. It still offers quite a lot for its price with a 50MP camera, 90Hz display and premium design. There are some potential rivals though like the Infinix Hot 40i, which is priced at Rs 9,999 and offers a 32MP front camera, 90Hz display, and a 5,000mAh battery.
