KSrelief distributes shopping vouchers to families in quake-hit Syrian town

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s aid agency KSrelief has distributed 2,089 shopping vouchers to Syrians in the north of Aleppo who severely affected by last year’s earthquake.

Residents in the town of Jindires in Afrin city have been in desperate need of aid for year after the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that devastated parts of southern Turkiye and northern Syria.

The vouchers can be used to purchase winter clothing from designated stores.

Elsewhere, KSrelief recently distributed 2,400 food parcels in Sudan’s Sennar State, benefiting 11,898 displaced individuals.
