In a shocking piece of news, actress Krishna Mukherjee has claimed harassment from the producers of Shubh Shagun. She was cast opposite Shehzada Dhami of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame on the show. Now, Krishna Mukherjee has said that she was harassed on the sets of the show, where the makers even went to the extent of locking her up in the make-up room. It seems they did this when she was unwell. Krishna Mukherjee says she is psychologically scarred after this incident and is battling severe anxiety and depression. This has made her scared to seek more work.

Krishna Mukherjee puts up a long post on the alleged harassment
Krishna Mukherjee wrote that she was very scared about putting this out in public but she had to. She said this was the reality of working with producer Kundan Singh. Krishna Mukherjee said her family is scared for her safety given that she has been given open threats. Krishna Mukherjee said she is right and wants justice to be done to her.

Krishna Mukherjee has said that she refused to shoot as she was unwell. The makers apparently locked her up in her make-up room. She has blamed Kundan Singh for this harassment. The actress said that she has not been paid her due for five months. It seems no one from the production house or channel listened to her official complaints. The actress said that they would bang on her door even when she was changing, an act that terrified her.

The entire fraternity is shocked seeing the post of Krishna Mukherjee. Shraddha Arya, Aditi Bhatia, Aditi Bhatia, Shrenu Parekh, Megha Prasad, Shardul Pandit, Pavitra Punia, Neena Kulkarni, Jigyasa Singh and others said they are by her side. Some of them even tagged Mumbai Police and CINTAA. Shireen Mirza wrote, “I have seen you being patient and quiet but not anymore baby. I’m glad you spoke about it coz we need justice. Time to get some serious action!!! Stay strong.” Puja Banerjee commented, “Television industry have changed and how so sad to hear this about our industry.”
Beyhadh actress Kavita Ghai wrote, “I feel you Krishna, because I have been through this mess myself, all I can say to you is that there is someone higher than us (GOD) and HE will set them right… believe me when I say that, coz the producer who did the same to me is in jail right now, shocking but true….. so just leave it to HIM… they will be punished in time”
