Kareena Kapoor Khan opens up on the pronunciation of Karisma Kapoor after confusion; reveals latter’s passport name

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor are two of the most popular actresses from the Kapoor Khandaan. They have carved a niche for themselves and are both quite popular for their unique styles and acting chops. There has been a lot of debate over how to pronounce Karisma Kapoor’s name. It is commonly pronounced as ‘Ka-rish-ma’. However, that’s not how it is. Karisma recently revealed that her name is pronounced as ‘Ka-rizz-ma’. Kareena, however, created confusion when she used the first pronunciation. The Jaane Jaan actress was asked about the confusion during a conversation with BBC Asian Network.

Kareena Kapoor Khan breaks silence on confusion over Karisma Kapoor’s pronunciation

The Crew actress says that she goes with the flow with whatever the interviewer asks her. She adds that if you love Karisma Kapoor then feel free to call her what you want. Even the Murder Mubarak actress is pretty chilled about it. Kareena Kapoor Khan feels she might have confused people with the pronunciation. She then addressed the difference saying that her sister’s name does not have an ‘h’ in it. “It is just Karisma on her passport,” she states, reports Indian Express. Kareena Kapoor Khan suggests a less controversial way to call Karisma

The actress further adds that one can just call her Lolo, which is Karisma’s nickname. Kareena adds, “She’s so chill. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor’s work front

Kareena has been basking in the success of Crew which also starred Tabu, Kriti Sanon, Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma to name a few. The film surpassed Rs 100 crore gross worldwide. On the other hand, Karisma was seen in Murder Mubarak with Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Tara Alisha Berry, Pankaj Tripathi and more. Kareena will reportedly be seen in Yash starrer Toxic. However, there is no official confirmation of the same. On the other hand, Karisma has not announced any other project.
