It is official. Kangana Ranaut has entered politics with the ruling party BJP. She will be contesting for a Lok Sabha seat from her home town of Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. There were many rumours of her entering the political arena and now it is confirmed. She said she is looking forward to being a reliable karyakarta and wants to do public service. She wrote on X (formerly Twitter, “My beloved Bharat and Bhartiya Janta’s own party, Bharatiya Janta party (BJP) has always had my unconditional support, today the national leadership of BJP has announced me as their Loksabha candidate from my birth place Himachal Pradesh, Mandi (constituency) I abide by the high command’s decision on contesting Loksabha polls. I feel honoured and elated to officially join the party. I look forward to be a worthy karyakarta and a reliable public servant. Kangana Ranaut’s father hinted at political career

Kangana Ranaut had met JP Nadda some time back in Kullu in Himachal Pradesh. Her father Amardeep had said that his daughter will launch her political career in 2024. He also said that she will only contest on a BJP ticket. The actress has been offered a ticket before as well. It is a known fact that she is a strong supporter of the ruling party and its ideology. Will actress bid adieu to her career in films?

Kangana Ranaut has some films lined up, which include a thriller with R Madhavan. She is also supposed to be doing a movie with Aloukik Desai. Do continue acting for screen though!,” while other wished her the best in the new journey.

There are rumours that she might tie the knot soon as well. It seems the actress is getting her wedding trousseau made from a low-key but talented designer.
