Ms. Marvel: The New Mutant just finished its four-issue run. The limited series followed Kamala Khan as she went on her first mission as an X-Man. This week’s conclusion saw the hero taking down a Stark Sentinel and foiling Orchis’ plans. This solidified Ms. Marvel’s loyalty to the mission of the mutants and left room for more X-Missions in her future. Which are happening sooner rather than later.

The MCU’s own Ms. Marvel, Iman Vellani, is back to take her comic counterpart on more adventures. Alongside Sabir Pirzada, Vellani is taking Kamala’s journey further in Ms. Marvel: Mutant Menace. This four-issue series takes the hero back to Jersey City to take on a Fall of X adjacent threat. Plus, she must deal with being outed as a mutant. This new journey puts Kamala Khan in contact with more X-Men…and more villains.

Fear And Loathing In Jersey City

Ms. Marvel is officially out as a proud mutant and X-Man. While the young hero is confident in her abilities and mutant heritage, the world may not be so accepting. Kamala Khan is used to being the hero of Jersey City, but will the city accept her as a mutant? This new series is going to show Kamala that the world looks a lot different when you are on the mutant side of things.

Ms. Marvel: Mutant Menace #1 is on sale 3/6.
