JioCinema, the exclusive streaming platform for the TATA IPL, is all set to kick off the world’s biggest T20 league with a spectacular opening day presentation. Influencer Orry aka Orhan Awatramani, will keep viewers hooked with his take on the ‘relevance’ of cricket through his inimitable style. They are all set to dial up the pop-culture quotient further with star singer Badshah entertaining audiences with his matchless energy, this time calling the live action between RCB and CSK in Haryanvi. Ravi Kishan too returns to regale fans with his earthy, unpretentious, and authentic self in Bhojpuri feed.

JioCinema will also turn back the clock as the first match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore will see the reunion of Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag, for an ‘opening’ of a different kind as the oracles of cricket will share unheard tales of the two titans clashing on the opening night. Sehwag’s straight-batted, plain-speak in his native dialect Haryanvi will reinvigorate JioCinema’s regional proposition like never before.
The opening weekend of the thrill-a-minute tournament on the digital platform will also see several other popular content creators, including Techno Gamerz, Lakshmi Manchu, Shiv Thakare, and UK07 Rider ensuring a diverse and engaging lineup across various feeds. Comedian and rapper Munawar Faruqui will add a new flavour to Gujarati feed alongside Ajay Jadeja, among others.
On the opening day match, JioCinema will also offer viewers a chance to win gold worth INR 50 lakhs as the first prize, while second prize will be gold worth INR 10 lakhs and 50 winners get a chance to win INR 1 lakh by playing JioCinema’s predict and win game, Jeeto Dhan Dhana Dhan.
The unveiling comes on the back of JioCinema’s push to make the game more accessible to Indians not only through multiple languages but also through an all-encompassing pack of entertainers that covers the entire spectrum of cricket viewers, right from casual watchers to core fans.
