We’ve been flirting with thinner brows this year, but Jennifer Lopez is here to say “Not so fast!” The musician’s take on holiday beauty is all about smoldering smoky eyes, super glossy lips and a thick, bold set of brows.
If you were looking for inspo for your upcoming holiday party or family gathering, look no further than Lopez’s latest photoset. In the series of three photos, we get an up close and personal look at her glam, most notably those ultra-precise arched brows. They’re noticeably thicker and darker than her usual brows, as though makeup artist Mary Phillips bumped up the volume for a little extra drama during the festive season. The brows are arched to perfection, beginning right at the inner corner of her eye and flowing all the way past the outer corner for extra length and shape. Though Lopez’s brows are always on point, this strong, sculpted style is really working for her.

Phillips contoured Lopez’s cheeks and applied a flushed peachy blush to the apples, then brushed on a warm brown tone on her eyes for a subtle smoke effect, applying a similar shade below her lashline. To further highlight Lopez’s eyes and to keep your gaze locked on that strong brow, Phillips placed the tiniest touch of a frosty champagne shadow at the inner corners. She lined Lopez’s lips with a nude liner — one of Lopez’s fave products, as we recently learned — then applied an ultra glossy beige gloss. Hairstylist Lorenzo Martin upped the glam factor with bombshell waves with lots of volume.
Though you would assume Lopez would be rocking a cherry red holiday mani along with her red dress and movie star hair, you’d be wrong. She defied conventional colors with a long, almond-shaped neutral mani instead. Mrs. Claus wishes she looked this good.
