Comic writer Jason Aaron is making his Superman debut in this week’s Action Comics #1062 from DC. Aaron’s first time behind the cape introduces a new story featuring Superman’s evil doppelgänger Bizarro. To bring this twisted tale to life, the writer is joined by artist John Timms, colorist Rex Lokus, and letterer Dave Sharpe. Alongside Aaron’s Superman debut, DC is bringing new issues of Green Lantern, Batman, City of Madness, Blue Beetle, and more to readers.
Jason Aaron Meets Superman
Jason Aaron’s Superman debut was announced back at last year’s NYCC. He is just one of the major creators working on this year’s Action Comics for the “Superman Superstars” initiative. This initiative features a series of rotating creative teams. Each shares stories that feature Superman against some of his most iconic villains. Aaron’s run will be a three-issue arc entitled “I, Bizarro.”
This week’s Action Comics #1062 brings the evil Bizarro to Metropolis. Superman’s twisted counterpart invades Metropolis and seizes control. He then turns the city into the City of Bizarro. Now, Superman is in a race against time to save the city. However, this task is no easy feat, with the citizens aiming to stop the Man of Steel. Jason Aaron makes his Clark Kent debut with a one-of-a-kind story that is truly bizarre.
