Poll strategist and politician Prashant Kishor on Wednesday put a stop to rumours that the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed him their national spokesperson. Prashant Kishor’s party, Jan Suraaj, issued a statement saying a letter claiming that a BJP letter shared on social media claiming that the poll strategist appointed as the saffron party’s national spokesperson is fake.
Kishor’s party Jan Suraaj also hit out at senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh accusing him of sharing the image. The party, on its official X handle, shared a screenshot that they claimed proved that the document was shared by the Congress leader on WhatsApp.
“Look at the irony! Congress, Rahul Gandhi You all talk about fake news and claim to be the victims. Now see yourself how the head of Communications of Congress Party, Jairam Ramesh, apparently a senior leader, is personally circulating a fake document,” Jan Suraaj party said in the post.
The document shows a BJP letterhead claiming that party president JP Nadda has appointed Prashant Kishor as the party’s national spokesperson.
