iPhone 16 Pro back case leaks online
- The alleged case shows a square camera module on the back panel, placed similarly at the top-left corner.
- We see two cutouts on the right edge. One is for the power button obviously and the second one could most likely be the much-rumoured ‘Capture button’ to instantly start clicking photos.
- This falls in line with the recent rumours, which claim that all iPhone 16 will have a camera button.
- This button is expected to offer better control over photo and video functions. Users will be able to swipe left and right to zoom, tap to focus, and press hold to initiate video recording.
The placement of the new ‘Capture button’ on the top edge has its benefits. You will be holding the phone in landscape mode for better video recording and clicking pics. The addition of the button will mean a slight design for the US models of the iPhone 16. The millimetre wave 5G antenna opening would likely be relocated to the bottom left side of the phone, below the volume buttons. For other regions, this wouldn’t be a problem as they rely on sub-6GHz bands.
iPhone 16 Pro colours
Separately, the iPhone 16 Pro colour options have leaked. The company will introduce new Space Black and Rose colourway options with this year’s Pro models. These might be offered in addition to white and gray colours. This also means the Blue Titanium option, which is currently available for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max might be dropped.
The Natural Titanium colour of the outgoing iPhone 15 Pro Max model will be rebranded to gray. The White Titanium is coming back but will be more of a ‘silver white’, something similar to the silver colour of the iPhone 14 Pro.
