iPhone 16 dummy units suggest larger Pro model, new camera setup for regular iPhones

As per the leaked dummies shared by X user Sonny Dickson, iPhone 16 series’ display sizes could be as follows:

  • iPhone 16 Pro Max: 6.9-inches
  • iPhone 16 Pro: 6.3-inches
  • iPhone 16: 6.1-inches
  • iPhone 16 Plus: 6.7-inches

So, the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max have a larger screen than the iPhone 15 Pro (6.1-inch) and iPhone 15 Pro Max (6.7-inch) respectively. 

Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus continue with the same screen sizes as their predecessors.

However, these two non-Pro models appear to feature a new vertical camera arrangement on the back. As already rumoured, their rear camera lenses could be placed one above the other within a pill-shaped enclosure. This is supposedly meant for spatial video recording.

So, the flash module of these vanilla iPhones could reside outside the camera island, unlike the Pro variants.

That’s pretty much what we gather from these mockups.

Other major iPhone 16 series leaks and rumours

  • The Apple iPhone 16 Pro is said to feature anti-reflective technology for its cameras
  • The regular iPhones could also sport the Action button
  • You could also get a new Capture button to quickly trigger certain camera features like zoom in/out, video recording, etc.
  • Under the hood, the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus could carry an A18 chipset and the Pro iPhones could bear the A18 Pro chipset.
  •  Their rumoured battery sizes are 3,561mAh on the iPhone 16, 4,006mAh on the iPhone 16 Plus, 3,355mAh on the iPhone 16 Pro and 4,676mAh on the iPhone 16 Pro Max model.
