JEE Main 2024: The National Testing Agency(NTA) has opened the image correction window for the Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) Main at https://jeemain.nta.ac.in/. During this period, candidates are required to upload the photograph as per the required specifications to avoid rejection of the application. All those engineering aspirants who have applied for the competitive examination and wish to make changes to their images can do so by visiting the official website — https://jeemain.nta.ac.in/. The last date to make changes is January 6, 2024(11:50 PM).

“It has been observed that the Photograph uploaded by few candidate for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) – 2024 has not been found as per the required specifications, therefore, it has been decided to give an opportunity to candidates to upload the Photograph as per required specifications to avoid rejection of application by opening the window to change their actual recent photograph on their respective online application forms as per schedule given below,” NTA in an official notification said.

  1. Passport size Photograph (size: 10 kb to 200 kb) [The recent photograph should be either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background]
  2. Spectacles are allowed only if being used regularly.
  3. Polaroid and Computer-generated photos are not acceptable.
  4. Applications not complying with these instructions or with unclear photographs are liable to be rejected.
  5. Application without photographs shall be rejected.
  6. The photographs need not be attested. Candidates are advised to keep 6 to 8 passport-size colour photographs with white background.
  7. Candidates may note that if the photographs uploaded are found to be fabricated i.e. de shaped or seem to be hand-made or computer made, the application of the candidate will be rejected and the same would be considered as using Unfair Means and the candidate would be dealt with accordingly.
