ICSE, ISC Exams 2024 Live: 10th Physics a little difficult for average students

Shivang, Arna and Tejasva of CMS Kanpur Road Campus said that the physics paper was a little tougher as compared to other subject papers they have appeared till now. Though they have done well but they were doubtful of 1 or two marks.

The ISC Physics paper 2024 presented a multifaceted challenge, testing not only our knowledge but also ability to think critically and apply reasoning skills across various sections.

Section A – MCQs and Assertion Type Questions:

In Section A, we encountered a blend of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and assertion type questions. However, the straightforward nature of these questions belied our underlying demand for critical thinking. It required to discern nuances, evaluate statements, and select the most appropriate options amidst distractors, thus necessitating a keen analytical approach.

Section B – Numericals, derivations and reasoning questions.

While the numerical problems in Section B were deemed tricky, We found derivation to be quite direct and easy. These reasoning elements posed challenges that required us to decipher patterns, infer relationships, and arrive at logical conclusions, thereby elevating the difficulty level beyond mere calculations.

Section C –

Section C posed a different challenge with its lengthy numerical problems, which proved to be time-consuming.

Section D –

The passage based questions involves critical thinking and logical reasoning. The level of questions in this section was moderate.

The ICSE Physics (Science paper 1) held on March 4 was little difficult for average students, with most questions requiring deep understanding of concepts, which forced students to think.

There were not many direct questions in the paper and students had to analyse the situation given in the questions before attempting it.

Shivang, Arna and Tejasva of CMS Kanpur Road Campus said that the Physics paper was tougher compared to other subject papers they have appeared till now.

They said that they have done well and are doubtful about one or two marks.

The ICSE or Class 10 Physics (Science paper 1 ) examination was held on March 4 between 11 am and 1 pm. More details soon.

Candidates need to sit at their places five minutes before the exam start time. Those who come more than 30 minutes late will be allowed to sit for the exam only under exceptional circumstances.

The ICSE or Class 10th Physics paper started at 11 am. The duration of the paper is two hours, and it will end at 2 pm. Stay tuned for more updates.

The ICSE Physics or Science paper 1 exam is scheduled for 11 am to 1 pm, while the ISC Physics paper 1 examination will be held for three hours, from 2 pm to 5 pm.

The CISCE will conduct ICSE Physics (Science paper 1) and ISC Physics paper 1 exams on March 4.
