Mumbai: Bollywood celebrity couple, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani are settling into married life! In a recent interview, Rakul shared a funny story about their wedding. While the couple had already set a date and their families had met, Jackky hadn’t gotten down on one knee yet. Rakul playfully admitted she had to nudge him in the right direction to get a formal proposal before walking down the aisle.
Rakulpreet Forcefully Made Jackky Propose Before Wedding
During the interaction with the media agency Rakul recalled, “Nobody knows the proposal story. I forced him to do a proper proposal for me. I said, ‘I am not walking down that aisle till you propose.’ Because shaadi date was fixed, parents have met and wedding prep is going on. But boy hasn’t proposed. I was like I need a story. I know we were getting married but I need a story for life (sic).”
She further continued, “But honestly, I had completely forgotten and he managed to surprise me. I had no idea. Bhumi (Pednekar) played a very important role. Because Bhumi sort of orchestrated it. So I couldn’t guess. Bhumi is his best friend and of course a great friend of mine now so she orchestrated the whole thing so I couldn’t tell (sic).”
Rakul and Jackky’s Marriage
Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani shared stunning photos from their wedding ceremony on Instagram. Rakul looked radiant in a beautiful pink-peach lehenga, accessorized with sparkling diamond jewelry. Taking to Instagram, Rakul captioned the post, ” “Mine now and forever (red heart emoticon) 21-02-2024 #abdonobhagna-ni (sic).”

In their social media post, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani announced their marriage with a caption. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony at the ITC Grand South Goa hotel, surrounded by close family and friends. The wedding itself consisted of two separate ceremonies.
