After your first couple of encounters with Sirona Ryan, how could you possibly turn her down when she asks for your help with the A Friend in Deed quest? She’s done nothing but help you, so now it’s time for you to help her out. It appears as though she’s lost a box of old letters and wishes to be able to reflect on happy memories once again. She will ask you to retrieve them for her and some things for her friend Dorothy. Keep reading to learn how to complete A Friend in Deed Side Quest in Hogwarts Legacy.
How to Complete A Friend in Deed Side Quest in Hogwarts Legacy
Before you begin this quest, you’ll want to ensure that you are at least Level 15 and have completed The Helm of Urtkot Main Quest. Then, head over to the Three Broomsticks to begin.
Speak to Sirona Ryan in the Three Broomsticks
Head inside the Three Broomsticks and talk to Sirona Ryan about her missing letters. She will send you over to speak to her friend, Dot.
Speak to Dorothy Sprottle in Upper Hogsfield
Using your broom, or Floor Flames travel, head over to Upper Hogsfield and speak with Dorothy Sprottle. She will tell you that she wants some Horklumps and ask if you can collect some for her, which, coincidentally, are all in the same location as Sirona’s letters. Most of the time, players will already have the Horklumps in their inventory, and you can hand them right to her before heading out to find Sirona’s letters. If you do not, you can buy them from a store to save yourself some time.
Find the Cavern and Enter It
Follow the Side Quest’s marker to head over to the Cavern that Dorothy told you about.
Collect Sirona’s Letters and Collect Sirona’s Letter Box
Once you make it inside the Cavern, you’ll want to follow the main path. This will take you through a series of tunnels and small rooms, most of them containing Horklumps and chests.
Once you reach the end of the cavern, you will have to face a large Mountain Troll. However, if you can sneak past the Mountain Troll, you can head directly through the metal door to the left of where you entered the Troll’s den.
If you are still interested in beating the Mountain Troll for its drop or XP, you can stand in the location pictured above and take no damage while still attacking the Troll.
Crouch under the wall behind you and collect all of Sirona Ryan’s items on your way to the Cavern’s exit.
Return the Box of Letters to Sirona Ryan
Now, head back to Hogsmeade and return Sirona Ryan’s letters to her. She will give you 180 XP and a Conjuration Spellcraft for completing the Side Quest.
