How Earth looks like in radio frequency: Musk share image

NEW DELHI: Space X CEO Elon Musk recently shared a captivating image of Earth in radio frequency in a post on X. The photograph displays a pattern of black and grey lines with scattered white spots.
“What Earth looks like in radio frequency from the @Starlink direct to phone satellites,” Musk said in the post.

Starlink, a satellite internet constellation developed by SpaceX, provide high-speed internet access to 75 countries, focusing on underserved and remote areas worldwide. The constellation consists of thousands of small satellites orbiting in low Earth orbit, working together to transmit internet signals to the ground.
To access Starlink’s services, users need to install special dishes at their homes or businesses, which communicate with the satellites and ground stations. The service is currently available in select regions and continues to expand its coverage as more satellites are deployed.
Recent reports suggest that Starlink is on the verge of receiving its initial approvals to operate in India, marking another milestone in its global expansion efforts.
