Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja’s Jhanak stays unaffected despite IPL 2024; Anupamaa numbers take a hit

The TRP report of Week 13 is out and most of the major TV serials have found a place in the top 10. New show Jhanak has swiftly made a place on this list. Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja starrer began in November last year and soon earned some ardent fan followers. It is now competing with long running shows like Anupamaa, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. In fact, Jhanak has managed to beat Rohit Purohit and Samriddhi Shukla’s show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and take the third spot in top five. It has remained unaffected even because of IPL 2024. Jhanak BEATS Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

As per Gossips TV, Jhanak’s TRP rating is around 2.1 this week. It is ahead of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Rajan Shahi’s show got a rating of 1.9. There is barely any drop in ratings for Jhanak from week 12 to week 13. Last week, the show’s rating was around 2.2. From the storyline of Jhanak to the chemistry between the leads, fans are in love with the TV serial. Even on social media, fans only have positive things to say. Anupamaa sees a dip in numbers

On the other, Anupamaa, that is the number one show currently, saw a significant drop in numbers. From 2.7 last week, it has dropped to 2.4 this week. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin ratings have also dropped. From 2.3 in week 12, it has now come down to 2.1. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah that was in top five last week has dropped down to the eight spot. It raked in TRP rating of 1.4. Last week it got 1.7.

IPL 2024 has surely has had an effect on the TRP ratings of the top TV shows. Pandya Store and Shiv Shakti are clashing with a TRP rating of 1.5. Imlie, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Udne Ki Aasha and Mangal Laksmi are the bottom four with a rating of 1.4. It remains to be seen that the major twists in the upcoming episodes help these shows to spike the TRP ratings or not.
