Even though it doesn’t snow in all of the Southern Hemisphere, the name stuck.

March’s lunar event is the Worm Moon, when worms are active for the year. Worm Moons are the mark of spring for some parts of the world, signifying that the seasons are in the middle of change.

The April lunar event is called the PINK MOON – and not because the moon is pink. It’s called the Pink Moon due to the blossoms that arise at this time, when seasons are in their full swing.

According to Astronomy.com this moon happens on April 23.

There’s an eclipse during the same month, though one that will be seen from North America and the United States.
