‘Healthy’ Magnum lolly dupes to enjoy during weight loss

Having a sweet treat can be a part of a healthy and balanced diet, but when you’re in the middle of a health kick, you may be keen to make swaps where you can.

This doesn’t have to mean you’re only able to eat dried fruit after you’ve enjoyed your evening meal though.

User @boredoflunch took to TikTok to show calorie counters how to make “healthy” Magnum dupes – and they look just like the real thing.

He said if you’ve never “meal prepped an ice lolly snack” then you need to “stop what you’re doing” and “make these”.

And, if you “don’t like bananas”, there’s no need to worry, as he said you can just “swap for other fruit”, including berries and apples.

All you will need for this recipe is:

First mix your banana, peanut butter, yoghurt and milk in a blender to make a smooth liquid. Then put the mixture into lolly moulds and freeze them for three or four hours.

He added: “After 3-4 hours, melt your dark chocolate with a teaspoon of coconut oil and pour into a mug/cup of choice. Grab your lolly mould from the freezer and dip the lollies into the chocolate until they are fully covered.” 

You should then set the lollies on a tray with greaseproof paper so they don’t stick and freeze for another 30 mins. 

He joked: “Hopefully you can wait the 30 minutes.” Since it was shared, one person commented: “I need these in my life.”

Another added: “Best thing I’ve seen on TikTok.” While a third commented: “Making these right now.”

Some weren’t impressed though, saying: “Why don’t you just buy Magnums from a supermarket?”
