Greggs shakes up its spring menu with an upgrade on fan favourite

The new and improved recipes are Smoky Cajun Rice with BBQ Chicken & Sweetcorn Fritters, Sweet Potato Bhaji & Rice, Feta & Tomato Pasta and Chicken & Bacon Pasta.

Meanwhile, the two new recipes are pasta pots which are the Piri Piri Chicken Pasta and Pesto & Mozzarella Pasta.

The food items are all part of Greggs Balanced Choice range. This means they are 400 calories or less and feature on the green or amber nutritional traffic light system. Perfect for a lunchtime meal.

Even better they are available to enjoy nationwide now.

So what exactly do the new lunch options taste like?

If you’re after a little spice to your lunchtime meal then the Piri Piri Chicken Pasta is the one for you. The pasta is coated in a spicy mayonnaise-style dressing.

Then it is topped with Piri Piri style chicken breast slices for that added protein. For some extra nutrients, it contains juicy peppers and tomatoes with an extra crunch of sweetcorn. The pasta pot contains 358 calories.

But if you’re after something more Mediterranean and giving some Italian vibes then there is the Pesto & Mozzarella Pasta which could be a tasty option.

If the flavourful pesto wasn’t enough it has the sweetness of slow-roasted tomatoes and peppers. Let’s not forget the spinach which is topped with mozzarella pearls. This pasta pot contains 375 calories.

Both options can be part of a cold sandwich or salad deal with prices starting from £3.75. It also includes a hot or cold drink.

If you want to get your hands on the new Spring menu, items can be ordered via Click & Collect through the Greggs App or website.

Meanwhile, you can also get Greggs delivered straight to your door through Just Eat or Uber Eats.

Will you be giving the new items a go?
