Graduates with preparatory prog from open univs eligible for Maharashtra LLB-3 yr course |

MUMBAI: Students, who have not cleared their higher secondary examination, but have completed their graduation through open universities with preparatory programmes, will now get an opportunity to appear for the state’s CET for LLB three-year programme. A circular, allowing their eligibility, was issued by the state’s CET cell based on a directive from the Aurangabad Bench of the Bombay High Court.
As per the court order, the circular said that ‘…such candidates are allowed to fill the CET application form and to participate in the centralised admission process for the law course’.If such students have any difficulties in filling the form, they should write to [email protected] mentioning their issue and registered mobile number on or before 12 pm on February 10. Last year, the CET cell had relaxed the norms to allow students from open universities to apply for law programme.
