• In a fresh set of leaked images shared by Evan Blass, we get a good look at the Pixel 8a from the front, back and side.
• The smartphone will come in four colour options: Bay (blue), Mint (green), Obsidian (black), and Porcelain (white/beige).
• It has a punch-hole display with rounded sides as opposed to the flat edges on the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro.
• The rear camera module is the same with the thick horizontal strap at the back housing two sensors and an LED flash. 
• The power button and volume keys are on the right side of the phone. Overall the Pixel 8a looks compact, which should be good for people who want a small-sized phone. 

These are possibly the best quality images of the Pixel 8a, and we now already have a very good idea of what the phone’s going to look like. The handset’s specifications have also leaked extensively, and here’s what we can expect. 

Google Pixel 8a specifications (expected)

• Pixel 8a could feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1400 nits peak brightness.
• The smartphone could be powered by the Google Tensor G3 chipset, the same one that’s available in the flagship Pixel 8 series.
• It is expected to launch in two variants with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage variants. 
• The Pixel 8a is tipped to house a 64MP primary camera with OIS, and a 13MP ultra-wide camera. It could house a 13MP front camera for selfies. 
• The phone is expected to pack a 4,500mAh battery with 27W fast charging support. 
• On the software front, the Pixel 8a will most likely run Android 14 out of the box. 

Pixel 8a’s price has also been tipped to cost $705 (Rs 42,800 approx) for the base 128GB variant and $790 (Rs 48,000 approx) for the 256GB variant. In India, the Pixel 8a is tipped to cost around Rs 1,000-2,000 more than the Pixel 7a, which launched at a starting price of Rs 43,999.
