New Delhi: The Graduate Admission Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 Admit Card is expected to be officially released by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru today. The time for the release of the admit card has not been revealed but it is expected to be out anytime today. GATE is conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) and evaluates the comprehensive understanding of the candidates in various undergraduate subjects in Engineering, Technology, Science, and Architecture; and both undergraduate and post-graduate level subjects in Humanities and Science. GATE 2024 Admit Card: How To Download

The following steps must be followed to download the GATE 2024 Admit Card…

  • Visit the official website https://gate2024.iisc.ac.in/.
  • On the homepage, click on the link that reads, ‘Download GATE Admit Card 2024’.
  • Enter the login credentials such as application number and date of birth.
  • Your GATE Admit Card 2024 will appear on the screen.
  • Download and take a printout of it for future reference.

GATE 2024: Exam Date, Distribution Of Marks

The GATE 2024 Exam will be conducted on February 3, February 4, February 10 and February 11, 2024 in several cities across the country; the examination will not be conducted in centres outside India. The exam will feature a total of 30 papers with the total marks for each being 100 marks. All test papers have a General Aptitude (GA) section for 15 marks and the remaining 85 marks cater to the subject chosen by the candidate.

GATE 2024: Exam Pattern

The GATE 2024 Exam is a computer-based test (CBT) and its duration is three hours. The exam will have a common General Aptitude (GA) section and the candidates’ respective selected subjects. The questions will be in multiple-choice (MCQ), multiple select (MSQ) and numerical answer type (NAT). Candidates are expected to be seated 4 minutes prior to the examination and can login to read the instructions 20 minutes before the scheduled time.

In case 30 minutes have passed since the beginning of the exam, students will not be permitted to login. It is not allowed for the candidates to leave the examination hall before the scheduled end of the examination.
