New Delhi: Salman Khan, one of the biggest and most popular Bollywood actors was in for a shocking, unpleasant surprise when at around 5:00 AM in the morning today, April 14, three rounds of gunshots were fired outside Salman Khan’s house, Galaxy Apartments. Two men opened fire outside the superstar’s house and then fled; the two men remained unidentified and based on the statement of the actor’s guard, a police investigation has been launched and probe is underway. This is an extremely serious matter and it is not the first time that Salman Khan has faced something like this; he has received death threats earlier too. Gunshots Heard Outside Salman Khan’s House, FIR Registered
As mentioned earlier, two unidentified persons opened fire outside the house of superstar Salman Khan in Mumbai’s Bandra at around 5 am on Sunday, police said. According to police officials, three rounds were fired and the Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch reached the spot for investigation at once. In a latest development, according to Mumbai Police, an FIR has been registered against the two people under section 307 (Attempt to murder) of the IPC and Arms Act by Bandra Police. This case has been registered on the basis of the statement of Salman Khan’s security guard.
Maharashtra Dy CM Devendra Fadnavis Gives Update
Reacting to the firing of gunshots outside Salman Khan’s house, the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis has given an update on the investigation going on in this matter. On the incident of firing outside the residence of actor Salman Khan in Mumbai, Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis says, “Police is investigating the matter. After this incident, security has been increased outside the residence of the Dabangg actor and during the initial investigation, a forensic team also reached the spot. The police has thoroughly checked the CCTV footage of the area and also of the nearby locality so that they can identify the accused. While there has been no confirmation as to who could be behind this, social media users believe that it might be Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang, because they have threatened to kill the actor, earlier as well.
