Renowned actor Fardeen Khan, celebrated for his portrayal in the recent series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, has offered insights into the highly anticipated sequel to the 2005 hit film No Entry. Produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by Anees Bazmee, the original film featured an ensemble cast including Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan himself. As plans for the sequel take shape, with fresh faces such as Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Arjun Kapoor joining the cast, Fardeen Khan has shared his sentiments and expectations for the project.
Fardeen Khan on No Entry sequel: “It’s close to my heart, don’t mess it up”
In an interview with PTI (Press Trust of India), Fardeen reflected on the script of No Entry 2 and expressed genuine excitement, describing it as “absolutely hilarious.” He fondly reminisced about the collaborative efforts of the original team, highlighting the dedication of Salman Khan, Boney Kapoor, and Anees Bazmee in crafting the success of the first instalment. Despite not being involved in the sequel, Fardeen Khan emphasized his emotional attachment to the franchise, remarking, “It’s a film that’s close to my heart,” underscoring the significance of the project to him personally.
While expressing nostalgia for his involvement in the original film, Fardeen Khan extended his best wishes to the team behind the sequel. He offered words of encouragement, stating, “For Anees and Boney, I only have love and my best wishes on the sequel, all I would say is: ‘Don’t mess it up’.”
With regards to the direction of the sequel, Fardeen expressed confidence in the fidelity to the original vision, remarking, “I don’t know whether they’re doing something different with the sequel but I’m pretty sure it will be close to what Anees had already written. I think it will be incredible.” As anticipation mounts for No Entry 2, Fardeen eagerly awaits its release, conveying his excitement to witness the sequel’s evolution on screen.
