ADEMOLA LOOKMAN was Atalanta’s hero as the Serie A side stunned undefeated Bayer Leverkusen to win the Europa League.
And Ally McCoist was absolutely loving it.

London-born Nigeria international Lookman made history by striking an incredible hat-trick to leave Bundesliga champions Leverkusen shellshocked.
Unbeaten in all competitions heading into the Uefa showpiece in Dublin, Xabi Alonso’s men were on the receiving end of a convincing 3-0 defeat.
Lookman, 26, got his senior breakthrough at Charlton Athletic before making a big money move to Everton in 2017.
He moved on to RB Leipzig in 2019 before returning to England on loan with Fulham and Leicester.
The winger made the move to Italy in 2022 and hasn’t looked back.
Finally finding a settled footballing home, Lookman has found the form of his career at Atalanta and last night was his crowning moment.
It was just the sixth hat-trick to ever be scored in a major Uefa final and the first since Jupp Heynckes struck three times in the 1975 Uefa Cup Final – 49 years ago.
His remarkable treble also won Atalanta their first trophy for 61 years.
One man who was absolutely LOVING Lookman’s night to remember was Ally McCoist.
The Rangers and Scotland legend was in Dublin to commentate on the game for TNT Sports.
And fans couldn’t help but notice how much the 61-year old seemed to be enjoying watching Lookman in action.
In particular, McCoist’s reaction as the tricky winger fired in his hat-trick goal caught the attention.
All three of Lookman’s goals were sublime strikes.
The third saw him find space on the left hand side as Gianluca Scamacca drove forward towards the box.
Sensing what was coming, McCoist screamed: “He’s got to give him it!”
Scamacca did just that, with Lookman taking possession on the edge of the area.
Showing tremendous footwork, he completely bamboozled Edmond Tapsoba before drilling an unstoppable effort into the top right hand corner.
And fans were loving McCoist’s reaction.
Overcome with delight, all he could do was laugh.
McCoist burst into joyous laughter before shouting: “What a goal! What a goal!”
Viewers took to social media to heap praise on his commentary – and his reaction to that third goal in particular.
One delighted fan said: “It’s the chuckle of delight from McCoist for me.”
A second added: “Protect Ally McCoist at all costs. His enthusiasm is infectious.”
A third commented: “Great finish. Got to love McCoist on comms. In awe of Lookman all evening.”
A fourth punter said: “Ally McCoist is simply sensational. LOOKMAN HAT-TRICK!”
