Priyanka Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh were going to work on a movie together

In conversation with Connect FM Canada, Boney Kapoor made this big revelation that Priyanka Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh were supposed to star in a film together. However, the movie could not materialise as it was just then that Priyanka moved to Hollywood seeking more opportunities. The actress was working on Quantico back then. Boney Kapoor reveals that Priyanka had asked them to wait but then she became an overnight sensation and the series was ordered a second season. Boney Kapoor reveals that the Priyanka Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh starrer movie was supposed to be Sardarni. Kapoor reveals that Priyanka started getting more opportunities in Hollywood and she decided to focus on her career there. Hence, they had to drop their film. It would have been interesting to see Diljit being paired up with Priyanka for a film. Diljit Dosanjh essayed Amar Singh Chamkila found a fan in Sridevi

As per Swarn Sivia, reports India Today, the late actress Sridevi was a fan of Amar Singh Chamkila. The actress had asked him to be a hero in films. However, Chamkila refused saying that he could not speak Hindi. As per reports, Sridevi even offered to tutor him within a month. However, the musician remained adamant saying that within a month, he could lose Rs 10 lakh. Sridevi had agreed to star in. Punjabi movie with Amar Singh Chamkila but even that could not happen, states the report.
