Kangana Ranaut and Ali Bhatt don’t really share a warm relationship with each other and this is clearly evident to all the fans. Kangan, who has criticised Alia on various instances has yet once taken a dig at the Gangubai Kathiawadi actor during an event. A viral Reddit video shows Kangana seemingly mocking a nepo kid for receiving awards that she herself has plentifully earned. Watching the video, netizens are claiming that the Queen actor is indirectly pointing out Alia Bhatt for her National Award for Best Actress that she received for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi.
During a media event, Kangana, who will make her political debut by contesting Lok Sabha Polls 2024 from Mandi on the BJP ticket, was asked about her views on Rahul Gandhi. To this, the actor replied and said, “Main unhe waise hee dekhti hu jaise film industry ka ‘raja beta’. Jaise waha unhone beti ko awards de diye. Ke kangana ko saare awards mil gaye, mujhe bhi chahiye. Ab ki baar saare awards unhi ko do. Naraz ho gayi hai yeh (I see him as just another industry insider, like a pampered child of the film industry. It’s like he’s given awards to his daughter. Kangana has received too many awards, I should get them too. This time, give all the awards to her. She is upset about it).”

When asked about receiving well-wishes from anyone in Bollywood as she ventures into her political career, Kangana replied, “Aisa nahi hai. Bollywood se bhi log mere liye khush hai. Yeh baat alag hai ke hum jo rashtravadi log hain, hum 10-15 saal pehle shuru kiya hai. Lekin jo nepo mafia hai, unka achha khasa setup hai. Toh woh log humein dabane mein kamiyab ho jaate hai (It’s not like that. People from Bollywood are also happy with me joining politics. The thing is – we nationalist people – have come up in the last 10-15 years and the nepo mafia has had a good setup for many years now. So, they succeed in suppressing us).”

On the professional front, Kangana was last seen in Tejas. The film could not do well at the box office and only garnered Rs 5.6 crore worldwide. The movie was made under a budget of Rs 70 crore. Now, the actor will be next seen in Emergency.
