Actor Daisy Shah who made a splashy debut in 2014 opposite Salman Khan will be completing a decade-long journey as an actor in the film industry this year. Recently, the ‘Jai Ho‘ actress revealed that she was diagnosed with jaundice and has been on the path to recovery since then.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Daisy mentioned that the recovery process is ongoing and will require some more time to fully recuperate.Recounting the onset of her illness, she explained that she initially experienced symptoms of feeling unwell and having a slight cold.
The actress further added that her condition worsened as her temperature rose and she began experiencing chills at night. Initially attributing it to a common cold, she became increasingly concerned as her health deteriorated over the following days. Seeking medical attention when her condition didn’t improve, she underwent various tests, leading to a diagnosis of Hepatitis A.
Daisy clarified that her condition didn’t warrant hospitalization as it wouldn’t provide much benefit apart from administering a drip. Currently, she’s receiving treatment at home, also through a drip. She emphasized, is to ensure proper hydration and nutrition despite the loss of appetite typically associated with her condition. Grateful for the support of her family members who are diligently caring for her, she highlighted the importance of avoiding dairy products during this time.

The actress stated that with 24 years of involvement in the industry, a decade as an actor didn’t bring about much change in her perception.
