Creators Award: PM Modi refers to ‘Tiger picking plastic bottle’ reel to highlight cleanliness issue – The Economic Times Video

At the first-ever ‘National Creators Award’ held on March 08, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke on the Swachh Bharat program and the creativity of Indian influencers on issues of mental health. He narrated a story of a reel where a tiger picks up plastic bottles. He requested creators to work more on mental health, especially in the local language. “You are all very well aware of the Swachh Bharat program. I saw a reel recently where a tiger is going to drink water, but he sees a plastic bottle in it. The tiger picks up the bottle from there and goes on to put it somewhere else. ‘Iska matlab hai Modi kis kis se baat pohochata hai, aap samajh gaye naa’…Issues like mental health are very important…I have faith in the talent of my country, and I appreciate the sensitivity of the people of my country. Many creators are doing very good work regarding mental health, but right now, we need to work more on this and, if possible, in the local language,” said PM Modi.
