Certain areas will undergo water shutdown for pipe leak repairs

The City of Tshwane’s Water and Sanitation Department is gearing up for crucial maintenance work aimed at addressing water supply challenges in certain areas.

On Tuesday, 9 April, a team of technicians will embark on repairing a major leak on a pipe that feeds water to the Meintjieskop and Hospital Reservoirs.

The repair work necessitates the temporary shutdown of the water supply to consumers directly served by the bulk pipeline. Unfortunately, this will result in an interruption affecting several areas.
