Digital stained-glass windows flanked the catwalk space displaying video artworks of Loewe ambassadors, including Jamie Dornan and Josh O’Connor. Paintings by the artist, Richard Hawkins, were reproduced on coats, trousers and bags. In his show notes, designer Jonathan Anderson called the collection an “algorithm of masculinity”. Outfits appeared pulled on in a hurry – one coat had T-shirts hanging from inside, as if it had been scooped up from the bedroom floor, while some looks were stitched together to form one piece, with socks attached to shoes and pants.
