Chocolate lovers are set for a tempting new treat from Cadbury, but some fans have been put off before even trying it.
The confectionary giant has expanded its Dream collection, sending fans into a frenzy with the introduction of a sweet newcomer. Initially relaunched in 2020 as a white chocolate counterpart to the iconic Dairy Milk, the range has since been seducing palates with a variety of both permanent and limited-edition delights such as Oreo, raspberry, and Christmas variants.
The latest addition to join the collection has been revealed by sweet treat insiders New Foods UK (@newfoodsuk) on Instagram. Alongside a snap of the new bar, they penned the enthusiastic caption: “The bar is so tasty, full of flavour and a pleasant coffee taste too!”
The bar in question is the Cadbury Dream Tiramisu, and its inception has whipped chocoholics into a fervour. Comments have poured in from eager consumers, with one writing: “Oh my, I need this.”
Another salivated at the thought: “Imagine this in a brownie.” A third shared their excitement: “Omg think I need to order some of this.” And a fourth queried: “Excuse me? Where can I get this?”
A description of the new bar reads: “Made to capture the essence of the classic Tiramisu dessert, this special edition chocolate slab is a tempting option for those who enjoy dessert-inspired confections. It is versatile enough to enjoy on its own, as a topping for ice cream or sprinkled over desserts to enhance their flavour. Whether enjoyed alone or shared during a movie night, each block provides a moment of pure joy.”
However, New Foods UK has highlighted that chocolate enthusiasts eager to sample the Dream Tiramisu will need to fork out £5.99 for a 150g bar, currently available exclusively at Bombon, and its hefty price tag has stirred some discontent.
“Just to let you know the bar was £6 plus delivery of £3.50,” cautioned one customer. A second person slammed: “£6 for a 150g bar of chocolate no thanks.”
A third said: “No way wow yummy, I have find this, when it’s not £5/6 a bar tiramisu is one my favourite desserts if done right.”
