Cadbury fans have been left ‘broken’ after spotting a change to the Roses tub.
Taking to social media fans said they were unable to find one of the popular chocolates in their festive favourite. It would seem those who love the Orange Cremes were left disappointed this Christmas, reports the Daily Star.
On social media platform X, one customer said: “When you trawl through the fresh box of @CadburyUK Roses and there’s not a single orange creme in the box?! Actually broken.”
Another said: “So disappointed that I had no Orange Cremes in my Christmas Roses… my favourite and only reason I buy Roses instead of Heroes.”
A third wrote: “Just opened a tub of @CadburyUK Roses and there was not one Tangy Orange Crème. 13 Strawberry and not one Orange! Very upsetting.”
While a fourth added: “Two boxes of Roses opened this year, not an Orange Creme in sight. @CadburyUK you have made an enemy.”
Responding to fans on social media, a Cadbury spokesman explained “supply chain issues” meant some tubs were missing the Orange Creme. However they reassured fans they were not missing out on chocolate numbers.
They said: “This year, a small percentage of Cadbury Roses products will not contain any Orange Cremes due to supply chain challenges. But don’t worry, you’ll still be able to enjoy the same amount of chocolate as usual as we’ve replaced them with our much-loved Strawberry Cremes.”

So while the chocolate may be missing for some fans, it appear it has not hit everyone. Fans can also rest assured the Orange Creme hasn’t been axed completely.
Last year however Cadbury did axe some flavours from the tub. The Peppermint Crème Crunch, Hazelnut Crème Crisp and White Raspberry and Dark Mocha Nougat choccies got the boot.
They made way for some new flavours to return to the selection box. Strawberry Creme, Peppermint Creme, Passionfruit Delight and the elusive Orange Creme made a comeback.
