Cadbury has unveiled an ingenious new range of Dairy Milk chocolate bar wrappers that aim to resolve the age-old squabble over chocolate-sharing.
The wrappers are designed to allocate chocolate based on who truly “deserves” each piece. There are 12 witty and relatable scenarios covering a range of day-to-day squabbles.
Scenarios range from acknowledging the family chef, the birthday rememberer, or the holiday planner. It also includes “who updates the shared calendar” and “who chose what to watch”.
This clever initiative follows a Cadbury-commissioned study involving 2,000 Brits, which shed light on the countless small yet selfless deeds performed daily.
The study found that the average Brit carries out 11 acts of kindness per day, including common courtesies like holding doors open for others (61%) and doing the washing up (53%), to unnoticed tasks like cleaning up messes (44%) and cooking (42%).
The findings underscore the UK’s compassionate spirit, with a whopping 80% regularly doing some kind of simple gestures and 85% saying they wouldn’t want it any other way.
For a vast majority, being helpful is ingrained in their identity (84%), and more than half (52%) report that lending a hand brings them joy.
A staggering 95% of Brits value even the smallest acts of kindness, from being brought a cup of tea to a pat on the back for a job well done, according to a new study.
While 17% felt no one should expect thanks for such acts of generosity, a whopping 68% admitted they love receiving thanks for tasks they’ve completed. In fact, 65% said expressions of gratitude genuinely bring them happiness.
The study, conducted via OnePoll, also found that while 25% of people sometimes forget to express their thanks, a significant majority (87%) believe it’s never too late to show appreciation.
Connor Gould, spokesperson for Cadbury, said: “We all know those unsung heroes who make our lives a little brighter the ones who book the flights, remember everyone’s birthdays, or simply do the weekly food shop.
“Sometimes it really is just simple moments of gratitude, including sharing a chocolate bar, that matter the most to others and are the perfect way to show you care.
