Burger King has gotten cheesier with its three new menu items inspired by the largest city in Pennsylvania.
The fast-food chain introduced three new items last month, including a permanent menu addition for all its restaurants on May 16.
All three cheesy items were inspired by Philadelphia and were tested by workers in select US Burger King locations.
The three new items that are now available at Burger King are the Philly Royal Crispy Wrap, the Philly Melt, and the Mozzarella Fries according to SheFinds.
The Philly Royal Crispy Wrap and the Philly Melt are currently available for a limited time, and the Mozzarella Fries are a permanent addition that replaced Burger King’s Mozzarella Sticks.

Although the Philly Melt is a new addition to the Burger King menu, the sandwich has been sold multiple times over the last two years.
The items have received positive reviews on social media and the ingredients could be a reason as to why.

The Philly Royal Crispy Wrap joins the list of flavors available at Burger King, including Classic, Fiery, Honey Mustard, and Fiery Buffalo Crispy Wrap.
The item is a wrap with crispy chicken, grilled peppers and onions, swiss cheese, and special royal sauce wrapped in a tortilla.
The wrap has gotten mixed reviews from Reddit users in a post that someone created on May 25.
There were no negative reviews, and one person compared the wrap to a Philly cheesesteak – one of Philadelphia’s famous food items.
‘This has one ingredient you would find on a Philly cheesesteak (the onions), so I guess the name makes perfect sense,’ one person wrote.
‘Peppers will never come standard but are usually available as an optional add-on. Asking for swiss cheese may get you kicked out of the store.’
Philly Melt

Reddit users also reacted negatively toward the sandwich, and one person requested that the Philly Melt be available in Canadian locations.
‘I did end up ordering the Philly Melt. And I didn’t like it too much,’ a Reddit user wrote in a post that was created on the social media platform over two weeks ago.
X users who praised the sandwich tweeted that it was ‘good as f***’ and ‘got addicted to Burger King’s Philly Melts.’
Mozzarella Fries

The Mozzarella Fries received mixed reviews from X users and one person tweeted that the menu item was ‘literally mozzarella sticks.’
Other social media users questioned the products similarities also and one Reddit user managed to explain the difference between the menu items in a Reddit post.
‘They taste different than the ones before-skinnier and tastier. Also the cheese is fresh and stretchy.’
