Budget: One of the attackers recced Budget session; handler fled with phones

The four attackersSagar Sharma, Neelam Kaur, Amol Shinde & Manoranjan D — all part of ‘Bhagat Singh Fan Club’ on Facebook, were in touch with each other for a year and had met in Mysuru a few months ago, their call details and intitial interrogation suggested. At least one of them, sources said, had recceed Parliament during Budget session, and figured out that visitors’ shoes were not checked.
On December 10, Sharma, Shinde and Kaur arrived in Delhi on train from Lucknow, Maharashtra and Hisar respectively and proceeded to the house of their associate, Vikram alias Vicky, in Gurgaon. They were later joined by Manoranjan, who flew in, and the main conspirator, their handler Lalit Jha. On Wednesday, Sharma collected the passes from an MP’s secretary and met the others at India Gate from where they proceeded to Parliament. Lalit shot the video of Neelam setting off the smoke canister, and fled with the phones of all four.
