In an inter namaste with News18 Showsha, Boney Kapoor reminisced about a conversation with Salman Khan regarding his son Arjun Kapoor’s acting aspirations.He mentioned that although he and his first wife, Mona Kapoor, had separated, the idea of Arjun pursuing acting hadn’t crossed his mind. It was Salman Khan who reached out to him, affirming Arjun’s potential as an actor. Salman took the initiative to assure Boney that Arjun possessed the necessary qualities to succeed in the industry and actively supported his decision to pursue acting.
The filmmaker acknowledged, “He made his lose weight. I would give credit to Salman where Arjun is concerned. Whatever said and done, today their equation might not be that good but he gave him his best (with regard to) Arjun. His growth was influenced by Salman,”
