Bollywood Hungama’s second edition of Style Icons 2024 is all set to light up the stage with glitz and glamour. But before the main event, a series of intriguing panel discussions are piquing everyone’s interest. One such panel brought together a bunch of talented celebrities – Tanisha Mukerji, Rahul Dev, Amayra Dastur, Adhyayan Suman, and Madhurima Tuli. The topic? A fashion face-off – is style simply an extension of fashion, or are these two concepts completely different sides of the coin?
Bollywood Hungama Style Icons 2024: Adhyayan Suman recalls Richa Chadha taking 88 takes in a 40 kg outfit for Heeramandi: “She got scratches and bruises”
The discussion got particularly interesting when Adhyayan Suman shared an anecdote from the sets of his upcoming show, Heeramandi. He revealed that his co-star, Richa Chadha, had to wear a staggering 40 kg outfit for her role! As if that wasn’t challenging enough, Adhyayan Suman added that Richa Chadha even took a whopping 88 takes to get a scene right.
He said, “When I was shooting for Heeramandi with Richa, she was wearing a 40 kg dress and she had to twirl around. The first time we shot, it took 88 takes. By the time she was done, she got scratches and bruises marks; it’s very tough for girls.”
The second edition of the Macho Hint presents Bollywood Hungama Style Icons Summit and Awards 2024 in association with Cinema Waale Film and Television Productions LLP and Across Media Solution, is slated to be held on May 2, 2024, at Taj Lands’ End in Mumbai.
