The weather is tropical with average yearly temperatures of about 27C (80F). At the interior’s higher altitudes, the average yearly temperature is 20C (68F).
The islands also boasts gorgeous white sand beaches.
Praia Banana is one of the prettiest beaches in the world, according to travellers. The beach got its name from its banana-like shape and was once shown in a Bacardi advert.
Sadly, British tourists can’t fly direct to these lovely islands at the moment, but you can get to the islands through Portugal on TAP Air Portugal.
