A MAN and woman have been arrested after armed police locked down a Glasgow street.
Cops raced to Kenmure Street in the Pollokshields area of the city over a report of a man allegedly carrying a crossbow.
Scores of officers and police vehicles were spotted in the street after the alarm was raised around 4.05pm.
A man was allegedly spotted holding a crossbow in the residential street.
Cops also received a report of a person having allegedly been attacked.
A man, aged 44, and a woman, aged 43, have been arrested.
Police have not yet found anyone who has been injured.
Officers are continuing to carry out enquiries amid an ongoing probe.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.05pm on Monday, 6 May 2024 police received a report of a man brandishing a crossbow in Kenmure Street, Glasgow. There was also a report of someone having been assaulted.
“At this time police have not traced anyone who has been assaulted or injured. A 44-year-old man and 43-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the incident.
