Actor Arjun Rampal, who is rocking the headlines for the release of his much-awaited film ‘Crakk’, opens up about his elder daughter Mahikaa Rampal and reveals that she is keen to act in films.
In an interview with India Today, Arjun said, his elder daughter is very keen on becoming an actor. She always had that in her. From her school days, she would be in plays; she would get nice parts to do, and she’d be really good at it.He added that Mahikaa has always been an entertainer and a bit of a clown at home.
Eloborating further, the actor added that she has done a full course. She got enrolled at the ‘Met Film School’ in London, following his advice to explore every facet of the filmmaking process. Graduating from there, she gained a comprehensive understanding of the industry.
According to him, the school, situated within ‘Ealing Studios,’ provides an immersive experience. Students are exposed to various aspects, including writing, direction, production, editing, acting, gaffing, camera work, lighting, and more. He said the curriculum involves hands-on learning, where students rotate roles, from holding the boom and working on set design to directing. This approach instills a deep appreciation for every aspect of filmmaking.
When asked if he has shared any advice with Mahikaa, Arjun shared that he told her that it’s not an easy job, and he also expressed that she’s a very mature and sensible girl. According to him, the key factor is having a genuine passion for it, being honest in your pursuit, and maintaining that sincere connection with your career. One can uphold such commitment, and he will undoubtedly create something extraordinary.
