Amid the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Telangana unit also joined the ‘X’ trend
Union Minister Anurag Thakur joined the viral ‘look between X and Y on your keyboard’ trend — that has been gaining traction on microblogging site X — and used to it to taunt the Congress party on former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and the Jammu and Kashmir issue.
“Nehru gave away a part of _____ to China and Pakistan. Look between H and L on your keyboard,” Thakur said in his X post.

This comes amid the long-standing debate over the “blunders” committed by former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, that led to India losing parts of Jammu and Kashmir to China and Pakistan.
Earlier this month, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had said that the Congress icon had committed a blunder by implementing Article 370 in the valley. This wasn’t the first time that Shah blamed Nehru for the issues in J&K.
Addressing the Lok Sabha in December 2023, Shah had said that Kashmir suffered due to two blunders committed by the country’s first PM Jawaharlal Nehru.
The Home Minister blamed Nehru for declaring a ceasefire without winning the entire Kashmir and taking the issue to the United Nations, which led to the sufferings of the people of J&K. He also said if the ceasefire would have been declared three days later, PoK would have been part of India.
“Kashmir had to suffer due to Nehruvian blunders. One was that when our Army was winning and as soon as Punjab area was reached, ceasefire was declared and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir was born. If the ceasefire would have been (declared) three days later, PoK would have been part of India,” Shah said.
He also blamed Nehru for losing Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) to the neighbouring nation. “Had Jawaharlal Nehru taken right steps, PoK would have been part of India now. It was historic blunder,” he added.
BJP TELANGANA JOINS THE NEW ‘X’ TREND
Amid the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Telangana unit also joined the ‘X’ trend.
Its post on X said, “Modi Ji: Who are all voting for BJP? Indians: Look at your keyboard between Q and R. #AbkiBaar400Paar.”
WHAT IS THIS NEW ‘X’ TREND?
The meme has been making its way through a sea of other memes on ‘X’. It says to “look between x and y on your keyboard”. But, there’s actually not much when you look between those letters, all you see is the letter f. What’s the catch here?
The meme started back in May 2021 when a post featuring a character from K-On with the caption ‘look between t and o on your’e key bored’ (the meme was misspelt on purpose).
The letters between t and o were y, u and i, Yui, which was a character from an anime series about high school girls forming a band. Since then users have been showing off their version of the trend.
For example, someone wrote, “The only person who can make your life better is ……… Look between Y and I of your keyboard” Yah, ‘U (You)’.
And just like that, the meme craze took off, poking fun at everything from RCB fans to referencing Lucky’s ‘u, a, e, o’ from the ‘Golmaal’ series.
