The famous American band Imagine Dragons is all set to enthral the Indian audience. The band will perform at the closing ceremony of the Indian Premiere League 2024. The announcement was made by Dan Reynolds through a Twitter post. Dan confirmed his attendance at the closing ceremony of IPL Season 17 and praised Virat Kohli. The band Imagine Dragon gained a massive recognition across the globe after the release of their first single It’s Time
A video on X has been shared, which features the highlights from IPL along with pictures of Virat from his winning moments for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The caption on the video reads, “Virat the GOAT, he’s the God of all fans” – Dan Reynolds Can you IMAGINE? They are ready to light up the night! From ‘Believer’ to ‘Bones’, get ready to feel ‘Natural’ as we face the ‘Thunder’ at the #IPL finale with @Imaginedragons! In the video clip, Dan can be heard saying, “This the stage where we come along. The moment is here. Virat the GOAT, he’s the God of all fans.” He further added, “Visiting India was the highlight of my entire career.”

In 2023, Imagine Dragons performed at the Lollapalooza festival in Mumbai, showcasing songs such as Radioactive, Demons, It’s Time, and Bones. The band, led by Dan Reynolds, also sang Bad Liar and praised both the warmth of the Indian people and the cuisine. The band consist of Dan Reynolds (vocals), Wayne Sermon (guitar), Ben McKee (bass) and Daniel Platzman (drums).
